She was glad she wasn’t human. No work, no bills, no responsibilities, she had nothing to worry about. She liked staying still, peacefully gazing at the sky, or inspecting and analyzing the people who walk pass the display window, or happily smiling inside when someone stops in front of her, admiring her transparent yet fragile body and her delicate opaque wings. But everyone seemed to have resisted this lovely crystal ornament, as they all gave her one last glance and strolled off, out of her life.

This is pretty amazing, especially considering that all the beautiful colors you see represent less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum.
